Sophie is at her quietest and calmest when she’s having her face painted. It’s quite rare for our little chatter box to stop still for a moment and, in the past, face painting has come in handy when we’ve had to wait a while for something like the car to finish having it’s W.O.F. She has always loved taking on a different character and went through a phase of asking to ‘be’ something different every morning over breakfast. Last summer we had some hilarious moments of Sophie and Charli covering their whole bodies in face-paint and bouncing on the trampoline like tribal warriors. And visitors to our house rarely got away paint free. We can’t wait to see what face painting adventures we’ll get roped into this summer!

Love the face painting and how still you sat Sophie. You made a great job of painting Daddy’s face and we loved it when he smiled…they were just lovely…well done both of you!!!

Will be your turn soon! :) x

Lovely to see all your pictures and catch up with all your recent posts. I’m still finding my way round my laptop. Didn’t know about recent posts till now. Well done Sophie for making Daddies face so funny, and well done Charli for doing a ‘Mary Poppins’. You must have a bit of magic in you. Will write again soon. Love and kisses from Chinese Grandma, xxxxxxxxx
